The African Organization for Academic and Athletic Development is a non for profit entity created for the sole purpose of improving the social and educational conditions of the African youth. The drop in literacy noticed in Africa specially in Senegal due to poverty have motivated the creation of A. O. A. A. D.

The organization will build relationship with existing non for profit organization in Senegal whose work is directed toward helping the youth, the goal is to help some of the kids take charge of their future academically while staying healthy and fit. A.O.A.A.D. will gather school supplies clothes and athletic gears to be shipped to Africa for the youth. To accomplish this several steps need to be taken:

The executive director will be sent to Africa to research and build relationship with local organizations.
A.O.A.A.D. Will seek donations in the form of grants and goods from American organizations and businesses.
The materials gathered will be sent via containers to Africa.
The trip of the executive director to Africa will help investigate some of the local organization which are promoting the youth so that the choice to work with a chosen entity will be based on factual data ( I. e. brochures, programs, pictures, plans etc …). Throughout time members of the board will be sent to Africa to oversee the progress being made by the organization.
The African Organization for Academic and Athletic Development (A.O.A.A.D.) is a non for profit organization whose purpose is to lower illiteracy in Africa which is due to poverty and a lack of mentoring. The organization is going to promote health and education through sports in Africa. This will help ease the hard and unsanitary conditions that some of the youth are living in. We want to provide the necessary minimum for progress in terms of goods and services so that the kids can stay in school longer. Our mentoring effort and your sponsorship will help build healthy and educated kids.
